Representatives of contractors for the Bach Mai Hospital and Viet Duc Hospital, branch 2 projects said that it is necessary to soon shorten procedures and time for approving contract adjustments ( progress, value, equipment portfolio) and hope to pay a part of the completed volume to have resources to continue implementation.
The contractor for the construction of facility 2 of Viet Duc Hospital is determined to complete the construction on October 15. The contractor of the Bach Mai Hospital project, Facility 2, committed to completing the remaining work in the next 6 months.

Recalling the direction of General Secretary To Lam on combating waste, the Deputy Prime Minister noted that relevant ministries, branches, investors, and contractors are determined to put the project into operation as soon as possible.
The Deputy Prime Minister said that we have issued Resolution 34 but that is not everything, only to help us have some major mechanisms and principles to implement, but to put the two projects into operation, there is still a lot of work ahead.
"We cannot say that the work is done but must be organized and implemented," said the Deputy Prime Minister. The opinions of ministries, branches, investors, and contractors at today's meeting clearly demonstrated their determination, now it is necessary to organize implementation.
Accordingly, the Ministry of Health has issued a plan to implement Resolution 34. The Deputy Prime Minister stated that we are determined to shorten the progress by at least 1 month.
There is still a lot of work, so don't let one thing wait for another, try to do everything at the same time.
According to the Deputy Prime Minister, documentary documents are also important, but the way of working is to work directly with each other. The investor and the project management board will promptly complete the contract adjustment dossier to submit to the Ministry of Construction for appraisal.
For the project management board, it is necessary to closely follow the plan, focus on human resources, time, intelligence, enthusiasm, and work side by side with contractors to implement the work.
The Ministry of Construction guides and accelerates processes and procedures to resolve contractor's proposals; the Ministry of Finance ensures funding for the project.
The two hospitals need to be proactive in human resources, so that when they receive them, they can operate well. Request to report to the Prime Minister on the project implementation progress once a month.
