On November 27, Con Co Border Guard Station (Quang Tri province) said that the unit is verifying and finding the owner of the fishing boat drifting at sea.
Previously, on November 25, while fishing about 20 nautical miles north of Con Co special zone, fishing boat QT-96869-TS of Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Thien (born in 1979, residing in Quarter 5, Cua Viet Commune, Quang Tri Province) discovered a boat with foreign characters drifting at sea. Mr. Thien's boat approached and towed the vehicle to the wharf, arriving at 9:00 p.m. the same day.
After receiving the report, Con Co Border Guard Station coordinated with other forces to inspect. There were no people on the boat, no papers, 21 m long, 4.6 m wide, 2.2 m high; the wooden shell was of the raincoat wing, registration number 6031 red.
The cockpit no longer has machinery to control it. Behind the cockpit, there is a WEICHAI machine No. 60823A, a winch and 2 duck feet, all of which are not working; many locations on the ship are damaged.
The ship is currently anchored at the Con Co special port. The authorities are continuing to verify and handle according to regulations.
