On October 28, Mr. Tran Thai Hoa - Head of Road Management Office III.1 (Road Management Area III) said that over the past 3 days, the storm has been complicated, many workers have stuck to the road, cleared, and cleared thousands of cubic meters of landslides at Lo Xo Pass.
As of the morning of the same day, the route through Lo Xo Pass to Da Nang or back towards Gia Lai has not yet been opened. The reason is that the amount of rock and soil is too large, after this landslide, it will collapse again; the rock and soil from the mountain slope will continue to flow down heavily, Mr. Hoa informed.

Heavy rain on the top of Lo Xo Pass, dense fog, many workers of Kon Tum Road Management and Construction Joint Stock Company still stay at the scene, fueling excavators and digging vehicles to maintain operations.
In weak wave conditions, limited communication, landslide areas far from residential areas, workers quickly ate each pot of bread and cold rice boxes, wearing raincoats to drive excavators to dump blocks of soil and rocks across the road.

Trying to clear the route but feeling worried when on the mountain, rocks and soil are still waiting for landslides, threatening the lives of people and vehicles.
The mountainous areas of Quang Ngai are still facing a high risk of dangerous landslides, especially in communes such as Dak Plo, Dak Pet, Ngoc Linh.
In Ngoc Linh commune, landslides swept away rocks and soil onto many roads in the commune, while there was a shortage of mobilized vehicles, making it difficult to travel due to traffic jams. Dozens of local people in Dak Nai and Dak Boi villages (Ngoc Linh commune) joined hands to clear fallen trees and clear mud to clear the road.

Young people and women in the commune have been wearing helmets for many hours to clean up the rocks and soil brought back by floods and rains, avoiding the villages being isolated for a long time during the rainy season, making it difficult to provide medicine, food and drinking water.
Currently, the authorities of mountainous communes of Quang Ngai are making efforts to deal with the complicated flood situation, organizing the evacuation of people to safe places.
