Binh Dinh asks to remove obstacles to "advance" a series of large projects
At the meeting, Binh Dinh province proposed that the Government, the Prime Minister and central ministries and branches continue to consider and supplement central budget capital for the province to invest in strategic infrastructure projects such as the No. 2 Runway Construction Investment Project and synchronous works at Phu Cat Airport, with a total investment of VND 1,500 billion.
Proposal to support the construction of the North-South Expressway project to Phu My Industrial Park and Phu My Port, with a total investment of 300 billion VND.
Currently, the Ministry of Construction is coordinating with the two provinces of Binh Dinh and Gia Lai to soon complete and submit for approval the investment policy for the Quy Nhon - Pleiku expressway project in April 2025. Therefore, the province proposed to soon consider and arrange investment capital to ensure conditions for starting the project this year.
The Prime Minister is requested to direct the Ministry of Industry and Trade and the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment to promptly advise on removing from the mineral planning areas overlapping with socio-economic development projects, creating favorable conditions for localities to implement projects.
Binh Dinh province also proposed that the Central Government soon allocate about 105 billion VND to support people with revolutionary contributions and martyrs' relatives with housing in the province in 2025...
In response to the province's proposals and recommendations, the Prime Minister directed ministries and branches to continue to remove common difficulties and obstacles for localities; at the same time, localities continue to review, synthesize, and report on institutional, mechanism, and policy problems for the Government to handle according to their authority. If they exceed their authority, they will report to competent authorities for consideration and decision.

Concluding the meeting, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh expressed his pleasure at visiting and working in Binh Dinh in the atmosphere of the province preparing to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the liberation of Binh Dinh (March 31, 1975 - March 31, 2025).
The Prime Minister was excited by the achievements that the Party Committee, government, army and people of Binh Dinh have achieved in implementing socio-economic tasks in 2024 and the first 3 months of 2025.
In the coming time, the Prime Minister requested Binh Dinh province to continue to make efforts and strive to complete the set targets, tasks and solutions; participate with the whole country in organizing major holidays and important anniversaries of the country: 50 years of liberation of the South, national reunification, 80 years of founding the country, 135 years of President Ho Chi Minh's birthday...
"Binh Dinh needs to be more pioneering, promote the spirit of self-reliance, self-strengthening, looking wide from afar, thinking deeply to do great things, not waiting, relying on others, always being steadfast, maintaining a strong stance, building Binh Dinh province to develop quickly but sustainably", the Prime Minister emphasized.
According to the Prime Minister, the province needs to implement the work with the spirit of "3 yes and 2 no". "3 yes" - beneficial to the country, beneficial to the people, beneficial to businesses, harmonious benefits, shared risks; "2 no" - no personal motives, corruption, negativity and no loss or waste of State assets, people, and national resources.
"Do whatever is beneficial to the people and the country, but do it boldly, do whatever is harmful to the people and the country and avoid it all," the Prime Minister emphasized.
Regarding the key task, the Prime Minister requested to focus on strongly and drastically implementing the revolution in organizing the apparatus, the implementation process should pay attention to creating consensus among the people, first of all, creating consensus from within the apparatus.
Focus on ideological work among cadres, party members, and people, especially in implementing the policy of streamlining the apparatus and implementing the 2-level model.
Focus on developing scenarios, plans and implementing double-digit growth targets. Effectively use public assets, especially after streamlining the apparatus.
