Approving the results of the election and dismissal of the Chairman of the Hue City People's Committee

    The Prime Minister approved the election results for the position of Chairman of the Hue City People's Committee for Mr. Phan Thien Dinh.

    On October 29, Politburo member and Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh signed Decisions approving the election results and dismissal of the position of Chairman of the Hue City People's Committee for the 2021-2026 term.

    In Decision No. 2403/QD-TTg dated October 29, 2025, the Prime Minister approved the election results for the position of Chairman of the Hue City People's Committee for the 2021-2026 term for Mr. Phan Thien Dinh - Deputy Secretary of the Hue City Party Committee for the 2025-2030 term.

    Mr. Phan Thien Dinh was born on December 10, 1971; hometown: Thuan An ward, Hue city (Phu Hai commune, Phu Vang district, old Thua Thien Hue province). He has a Bachelor's degree in Economics, a Bachelor's degree in Law, a Master's degree in Public Administration Management, and a Senior degree in political theory.

    Mr. Phan Thien Dinh has many years of experience in the fields of inspection, planning and investment, and has held important positions in the old Thua Thien Hue province such as: Director of the Department of Planning and Investment, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Secretary of the City Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Council of Hue City (old).

    In Decision No. 2402/QD-TTg dated October 29, 2025, the Prime Minister approved the results of the dismissal of Mr. Nguyen Van Phuong from the position of Chairman of the Hue City People's Committee for the 2021-2026 term.

    The above decisions take effect from October 29, 2025.
