On the evening of October 17, the Hue City People's Council elected Mr. Phan Thien Dinh - Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee to hold the position of Chairman of the Hue City People's Committee, replacing Mr. Nguyen Van Phuong, who was recently appointed by the Politburo to hold the position of Secretary of the Quang Tri Provincial Party Committee.
The new Chairman of the Hue City People's Committee, Phan Thien Dinh, affirmed that with the responsibility of being assigned to be the head of the City People's Committee, he will learn, inherit and promote the achievements and experiences of previous generations of leaders.
At the same time, together with the Hue City People's Committee, build a government system from the city to the grassroots level that is increasingly strong, efficient, effective and efficient.
Mr. Dinh emphasized that he will closely follow the leadership of the Hue City Party Committee and People's Council, effectively implement the Resolution of the City Party Congress, promote the spirit of solidarity, democracy and collective intelligence to successfully complete assigned tasks.
"In the immediate future, we will work with the City People's Committee to immediately deploy tasks and solutions in the remaining months to complete the tasks of the socio-economic development plan for 2025 assigned by the City Party Committee and the City People's Council, focusing on implementing the goal of striving for a GRDP growth rate of over 10%" - Mr. Dinh said.
Mr. Phan Thien Dinh (born on December 10, 1971, hometown of Hue City) has a Master's degree in Public Administration Management, Bachelor of Economics, Bachelor of Law; and a Senior Political Theory qualification.
