On July 7, Party Central Committee member, Vice President Vo Thi Anh Xuan and National Assembly delegates of An Giang province had a meeting with voters of Long Xuyen ward and voters of Tan Hiep commune (An Giang province). At the two meetings, the results of the 9th Session of the 15th National Assembly were reported and the opinions and recommendations of voters were listened to.
Voters in Long Xuyen ward and Tan Hiep commune expressed their confidence in the guidelines and policies of the Party and the State. The reorganization of local government at both levels is also recognized by voters as a necessary step to suit actual conditions, thereby contributing to improving the quality of service for the people, promoting administrative reform, and improving the investment - business environment.

Voter Nguyen Thi Hau (Long Xuyen ward, An Giang province) said that the vertical traffic routes connecting the new An Giang province (old An Giang and Kien Giang provinces) have not met the development needs of the new period. Voters Hau suggested that the Central Government and the province pay attention to and prioritize investment in transport infrastructure connecting the province's horizontal axes, especially between central urban areas such as Long Xuyen - Rach Gia - Ha Tien - Chau Doc, creating synchronous and interconnected development between localities in the province.
Voters in Long Xuyen ward also proposed that An Giang province implement solutions to prevent and combat landslides on riverbanks and canals; security and order situation, environmental pollution in residential areas, traffic congestion; the production and consumption of counterfeit goods are causing panic among people...
Voter Luong Quang Vang, Tan Hiep commune, expressed his opinion that recently, local farmers have had difficulty in consuming products, high prices of agricultural materials, and often unstable rice prices due to fluctuations in domestic and export markets. Therefore, Mr. Vang suggested that the Central Government and the province should pay attention to investing in infrastructure, having solutions to promote the application of scientific and technological advances to serve agricultural production to increase productivity, quality, and compete with rice export markets. At the same time, it will promote the invitation and linkage of agricultural product consumption in general, and rice grains in particular, helping farmers feel secure in production.

Speaking to voters, Vice President Vo Thi Anh Xuan said that streamlining the apparatus and rearranging administrative units is not only a technical solution but a turning point in the roadmap for innovating the national political and governance system, towards a streamlined, efficient, and cost-effective administration to better serve people and businesses.
During the implementation process, there should be no interruptions in work, decreased motivation or a mentality of stagnation and waiting. The arrangement of the team after the arrangement must be based on qualities, capacity, prestige and work efficiency, resolutely fighting local manifestations, group interests, and internal division. At the same time, pay attention to policies for cadres subject to arrangement.
Recognizing and sharing the concerns and difficulties of voters, Vice President Vo Thi Anh Xuan said that in the coming time, the role of provincial leaders and grassroots authorities will be very great, the new government must truly stick with the people, innovate working style, understand and accompany people and businesses more.
Vice President Vo Thi Anh Xuan noted that to develop An Giang province quickly and sustainably, it is necessary to have a comprehensive plan based on inheriting the values of each land, ensuring connectivity and synchronization, in order to maintain the common development rhythm for the whole province. An Giang province needs to focus on successfully organizing Party Congresses at all levels, towards a National Party Congress, creating a position to enter a new era of national development.
