At the meeting, voters recommended speeding up the issuance of first-time land use right certificates to people before the merger; urban order management has not kept up with the development of Phu Quoc.
The situation of encroachment and encroachment on the roadway and sidewalk is still happening; hopefully the state will handle and reclaim projects that have been suspended for many years.
Voter Tran Hoang Khon lives in Ganh Gien hamlet, Cua Duong commune, expressing his agreement with the policy of the Party and the State about streamlining the organizational structure, merging the province, leaving the district level, reducing the burden on the state budget, promoting sustainable economy. However, voters Tran Hoang Khon also raised the question: "At this time, Phu Quoc established a special zone, will the police force meet enough to perform the task of ensuring local security and order?
Voters also hope that the Government will have regulations to impose heavier penalties on food safety and hygiene issues, typically the case of widespread fake milk production on the market, which has caused public outrage. In addition to the issue of waste and environmental pollution, voters hope for strong sanctions against individuals who intentionally pollute the environment.
In addition, local health facilities have not met the needs of medical examination and treatment, voters hope that the state will invest in medical facilities with equipment that are good for the area and serve the health care of the people.
Regarding foreign tourists participating in traffic. Mr. Nguyen Duy Ngai, a voter in Ben Tram hamlet, Cua Duong commune, suggested: "In the past, foreign tourists have rented cars to participate in traffic and there have been accidents. Hopefully, the police will increase inspections of them when participating in traffic to ensure safer safety".

At the meeting, Mr. Le Nguyen Quoc Toan, Vice Chairman of Phu Quoc City People's Committee and representatives of Phu Quoc City's specialized departments received and directly answered voters' questions within their authority. On behalf of the National Assembly Delegation of Kien Giang province, Colonel Nguyen Van Han, Director of Kien Giang Provincial Police, also accepted the opinions of voters.
Colonel Nguyen Van Han also welcomed the spirit of the people in protecting the forest and the environment. Note that for facilities that rent vehicles to foreign tourists, it is necessary to step up propaganda to make tenants understand their responsibilities when participating in traffic, avoid giving vehicles to unqualified people, if they cause an accident, they will be prosecuted.
Regarding voters' opinions after removing the district level, the police force will continue to be strengthened, meeting the requirements of ensuring security and order in the area, serving the task of local socio-economic development. For the remaining opinions, they will also be compiled and sent to all levels and competent agencies to respond to voters in the coming time.
