On January 9, a delegation of the National Assembly led by Head of the Organizing Committee of the Francophone Parliamentary Union (APF) Executive Committee Conference, Party Central Committee member, Vice Chairman of the National Assembly Nguyen Duc Hai, inspected preparations for the APF Conference (French Parliamentary Cooperation Forum) in Can Tho City.
Vice Chairman of the National Assembly Nguyen Duc Hai emphasized that the Conference of the Executive Board of the Francophone Parliamentary Union (APF) and the Francophone Parliamentary Cooperation Forum on Sustainable Agriculture - Food Security and Climate Change Response are extremely important foreign affairs events of the National Assembly in early 2025.

Can Tho has coordinated with the Foreign Affairs Committee to conduct a preliminary survey of the locations for the APF Executive Committee Conference, forums, exhibitions, receptions, and to develop sightseeing tours... to introduce suitable conference locations that meet the requirements for organizing the above events and nearby hotels; to assign personnel to participate in the APF Executive Committee Conference Organizing Committee in Can Tho City; to coordinate with the Sub-committees of the APF Conference Organizing Committee to develop plans and other related tasks... at the locations of the Conference and related events.
The Vice Chairman of the National Assembly highly appreciated the organization of Can Tho City, emphasizing that the Vietnamese National Assembly hosted the APF Executive Committee Meeting, continuing to affirm that Vietnam is a key member of APF in the Asia-Pacific region, proactive and responsible in APF.
