On July 17, according to Lao Dong, the People's Committee of Lang Son province has just issued a Decision to complete the Steering Committee for Land inventory and map the current status of land use in 2024 to ensure consistent implementation, on schedule and in accordance with legal regulations.
According to the Decision, the Steering Committee has the Head of the Committee, Mr. Luong Trong Quynh, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee.
The Standing Deputy Head of the Committee is Mr. Nguyen Huu Chien, Director of the Department of Agriculture and Environment. The Steering Committee also includes Deputy Heads and 13 members who are leaders of departments, branches, armed forces and Chairmen of People's Committees of communes and wards in the province.
The Steering Committee is responsible for assisting the Provincial People's Committee in directing departments, branches, and commune-level People's Committees to organize land inventory and map the current status of land use in 2024 according to regulations; at the same time, inspect, urge, monitor implementation progress, handle or propose to handle difficulties and problems arising during implementation.
In addition, the Steering Committee performs other tasks under the direction of the Provincial People's Committee and the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee.
The Department of Agriculture and Environment is assigned as the standing agency of the Steering Committee. The members work concurrently and perform tasks assigned by the Head of the Committee. The Steering Committee will dissolve itself after completing the task of land inventory and maping the current status of land use in 2024.
This decision takes effect from the date of signing and replaces Decision No. 650/QD-UBND dated March 14, 2025 of the Chairman of Lang Son Provincial People's Committee on the same content.
