The People's Committee of Bac Ninh province has just submitted a document on updating information on State-level Reward Submissions.
The submission to the Prime Minister and the Ministry of Home Affairs stated that, implementing the Official Dispatch dated July 1, 2025 of the Central Emulation and Reward Committee on reviewing and updating information on State-level rewards.
Based on the Resolution of the National Assembly on the merger of the two provinces of Bac Ninh and Bac Giang and related documents, after reviewing the submissions, to ensure that the names of working units and locations are named after the new administrative units, the Chairman of the People's Committee of Bac Ninh province respectfully requested the Ministry of Home Affairs to update information on commendation under the authority of the Prime Minister for collectives and individuals submitting commendations.
Notably, in the list, Mr. Mai Son - Permanent Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Bac Ninh province was proposed to be awarded a Certificate of Merit by the Prime Minister.
Mr. Mai Son is 51 years old, has a master's degree in Economics and a PhD in Business Administration.
Mr. Son has held positions such as Secretary of the Chairman, Secretary of Bac Giang; Secretary of Hiep Hoa District; Secretary of the Bac Giang City Party Committee, before being elected Vice Chairman of Bac Giang Province in December 2020.
In October 2024, Mr. Mai Son was assigned by the Prime Minister to act as Chairman of the People's Committee of Bac Giang province.
Currently, Mr. Mai Son is the Permanent Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Bac Ninh province (after the merger between Bac Ninh and Bac Giang).
The condition to be awarded a Certificate of Merit by the Prime Minister is that you have been awarded a Certificate of Merit by a Ministry, Department, Branch, Province and have been continuously for 5 years or more until the time of application to be recognized as having completed the task well or better, during which time you have been awarded the title of "Emulation Fighter at the grassroots level" 3 times, based on the Law on Emulation and Commendation 2022.
