On the morning of January 21, at Soc Trang Provincial Police, the Ministry of Public Security organized the announcement of the Decision of the Minister of Public Security on personnel work.
At the ceremony, authorized by the Minister of Public Security, the leader of the Department of Organization and Personnel, Ministry of Public Security announced the Decision to transfer and appoint Colonel Tran Van Duong - Deputy Director of Can Tho City Police - to take up the position of Director of Soc Trang Provincial Police.
Presenting the Decision and congratulating Colonel Tran Van Duong with flowers, Major General Dang Hong Duc - Deputy Minister of Public Security - wished Colonel Tran Van Duong and the Party Committee and the Board of Directors of Soc Trang Provincial Police to promote their leadership and direction in all aspects of Public Security work, contributing to ensuring political security, social order and safety; excellently completing the political tasks assigned by the Central Public Security Party Committee, the leaders of the Ministry of Public Security, the Provincial Party Committee, the People's Council and the People's Committee of Soc Trang province; creating a stable environment of security and order for the local socio-economic development.
Speaking at the ceremony, Colonel Tran Van Duong promised to unite with the Party Committee and leaders of Soc Trang Provincial Police, uphold the glorious tradition of the Provincial Police, and be determined to excellently complete all assigned tasks; maintain political security, social order and safety, build a clean, strong, disciplined, elite, modern Soc Trang Provincial Police, meeting the requirements and tasks in the new situation in the spirit of Resolution No. 12 of the Politburo, contributing to the socio-economic development of the locality.
