
The delegation included leaders of Nghe An province: Nguyen Duc Trung - Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; Nguyen Van De - Member of the Provincial Party Executive Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; and leaders of departments and branches.
In Tan Lien village (Con Cuong commune), which was severely affected by flash floods and deep flooding, Deputy Prime Minister Mai Van Chinh and the working delegation directly visited households that were in a state of loss and heavy damage to property and houses. In many houses, the mud was still nearly half a meter thick, people were busy cleaning, but their lives could not be stabilized.
Giving gifts, sharing the losses and difficulties of the people, the Deputy Prime Minister emphasized: "Human safety is paramount. Natural disasters are something that no one wants, so I hope people will overcome difficulties to stabilize their lives". He also warned people not to be subjective, need to keep the environment hygienic to prevent post-flood epidemics.
Provincial Party Secretary Nguyen Duc Trung said that the province has directed the mobilization of forces to evacuate safely and urgently deploy many plans to absolutely protect the safety of people's lives and property.
At Pu Mat National Park - which is receiving the evacuation of more than 300 households with nearly 1,000 people, the Deputy Prime Minister visited, encouraged and handed over practical gifts. He praised the proactive and responsible spirit of local authorities and functional forces in evacuating people safely before the flood.
