Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh has just signed and issued Decision No. 1086/QD-TTg dated October 2, 2024 on strengthening the Price Management Steering Committee.
Accordingly, the Price Management Steering Committee was completed with Deputy Prime Minister Ho Duc Phoc as Head of the Committee.
The Minister of Finance is the Deputy Head of the Committee.

The Ministry of Finance, the standing agency of the Steering Committee for Price Management, is responsible for urging the implementation of tasks by members of the Steering Committee as assigned by the Head of the Steering Committee in the Steering Committee's conclusions on price management in each period and synthesizing the results to report to the Steering Committee at meetings.
Minister of Finance - Deputy Head of Price Management directs the implementation of the consolidation of members of the Steering Committee's support group.
The Price Management Steering Committee is responsible for researching and assisting the Prime Minister in reviewing, approving or deciding on major policies and orientations on price management in each period.
Synchronously implement policies on prices of important and essential goods and services; decide on specific price management measures for a number of important and essential goods and services appropriate for each period; implement price stabilization measures for important and essential goods and services.
