Deputy Prime Minister Mai Van Chinh has new tasks

Deputy Prime Minister Mai Van Chinh was assigned to be the Head of the Central Steering Committee for the movement "All people unite to build a cultural life".

Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh has just signed and issued Decision No. 81/QD-TTg on consolidating personnel of the Central Steering Committee for the movement "All people unite to build a cultural life" (Steering Committee).

According to the decision, Deputy Prime Minister Mai Van Chinh will be the Head of the Steering Committee.

Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Nguyen Van Hung is the Deputy Head of the Committee.

3 Standing Committee members include:

1. Mr. Nguyen Quang Duc - Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Committee;

2. Ms. Ha Thi Nga - Vice Chairwoman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front (currently holding the position of Vice Chairwoman - Secretary General of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front);

3. Ms. Trinh Thi Thuy - Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism.

17 members include:

1. Senior Lieutenant General Le Van Tuyen - Deputy Minister of Public Security;

2. Senior Lieutenant General Truong Thien To - Deputy Director of the General Department of Politics of the Vietnam People's Army;

3. Mr. Do Ngoc Huynh - Deputy Chairman of the Government Office;

4. Ms. Nguyen Thi Ha - Deputy Minister of Home Affairs;

5. Ms. Nguyen Thi Bich Ngoc - Deputy Minister of Finance;

6. Mr. Nguyen Tuong Van - Deputy Minister of Construction;

7. Mr. Le Quan - Deputy Minister of Education and Training;

8. Ms. Nguyen Thi Lien Huong - Deputy Minister of Health;

9. Mr. Nguyen Hoang Hiep - Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Environment;

10. Mr. Y Thong - Deputy Minister of Ethnic Minorities and Religious Affairs;

11. Mr. Dinh Dac Vinh - Deputy General Director of Vietnam Television;

12. Mr. Ngo Minh Hien - Deputy General Director of Voice of Vietnam Radio;

13. Mr. Nguyen Duc Minh - Vice President of the Vietnam Academy of Social Sciences;

14. Lieutenant General Khuat Viet Dung - Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Veterans Association;

15. Mr. Vuong Duy Bien - Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Union of Literary and Art Associations;

16. Mr. Phan Van Hung - Vice Chairman of the Central Vietnam Association of the Elderly;

17. Ms. Pham Thi Hoe - Vice President of the Central Vietnam Association for Promoting Education.

This decision takes effect from the date of signing; replacing Decision No. 530/QD-TTg dated May 19, 2023 of the Prime Minister on consolidating personnel of the Central Steering Committee for the movement "All people unite to build a cultural life".
