Among the projects that the Permanent Deputy Prime Minister inspected were the Tan Lap Islet Urban Area and the My Gia New Urban Area (in Nha Trang and Tay Nha Trang wards).
Tan Lap Islet Urban Area (Nha Trang) was expected to become a coastal highlight, but for many years it has been unfinished, with abandoned land and incomplete infrastructure.
Many households in the resettlement area have reported difficulties as their lives have been seriously affected.
Similarly, My Gia New Urban Area (Nha Trang) is also facing difficulties in site clearance and connecting infrastructure. This has caused the project to not be able to be implemented synchronously.
Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Hoa Binh emphasized that Khanh Hoa needs to focus on thoroughly handling backlogs, especially those that have lasted for many years, causing public outrage, affecting socio-economic development and people's lives.
Permanent Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Hoa Binh suggested that the People's Committee of Khanh Hoa province proactively coordinate with the Government Inspectorate, relevant ministries and branches to handle backlogs in the spirit of Resolution 170 of the National Assembly on piloting a number of specific mechanisms and policies for the development of Khanh Hoa.
For issues beyond the authority, Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Hoa Binh assigned Khanh Hoa province to report to the Government for timely consideration and resolution.
