On August 19, along with localities across the country, Khanh Hoa province simultaneously started 4 major projects with a total capital of nearly 20,200 billion VND.
These are the Nha Trang City Mixed-use Urban Area Project; Ho Chi Minh City University of Economics Training and Research Facility in Nha Trang; Doc Da Trang Industrial Park Infrastructure Investment, Construction and Business Project; Social Housing in Thanh Hai Resettlement Area.
Speaking at the groundbreaking ceremony of 4 projects, Mr. Tran Hoa Nam - Vice Chairman of Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee - assessed the event as not only an event marking the beginning of 4 major projects, but also demonstrating the determination of the Party Committee, government, people and business community in building a modern - green - smart - unique Khanh Hoa.
Mr. Tran Hoa Nam suggested that departments, branches, sectors and localities actively coordinate and support investors.
Investors promote their capacity, reputation and highest determination to soon put projects into operation, creating a strong spillover effect for the overall development of Khanh Hoa province.
As the first project invested by Sun Group in Khanh Hoa province, Nha Trang City Mixed-use Urban Area is positioned as an international-class riverside - coastal urban area, where the quintessence of tourism, entertainment and settlement converges.
At the same time, it has become a driving force to activate the night-time economy of Khanh Hoa province. The project has a scale of more than 226 hectares, with a total investment of more than 17,000 billion VND.
The UEH Nexus campus Nha Trang project is built on a 2.1ha campus in the Bac Hon Ong Vocational School, Training and Teaching Area, with a total investment of VND294 billion.
The project is designed with optimal, modern, dynamic, green and sustainable architecture.
The Doc Da Trang Industrial Park project was approved by the Prime Minister on March 18, 2024 and was granted an investment registration certificate by the Van Phong Economic Zone Management Board.
Viglacera Yen My Industrial Park Development Joint Stock Company is the investor.
The project has an area of 288 hectares in Van Hung and Bac Ninh Hoa communes, with a total investment of more than 1,807 billion VND, and an operating period of 50 years. When put into operation, the project will attract about 16,000 workers.
The Social Housing project in Thanh Hai Resettlement Area, invested by Sao Bien Real Estate Company Limited, is built in Thanh Hai Industrial Cluster Resettlement Area, with a total investment of VND 1,358 billion, on an area of over 19,150m2.
The construction scale includes 4 apartment blocks (A1, A2, B1, B2) with 15 floors above ground and 1 technical roof floor, with a maximum height of 54.4m. The project is expected to be completed and put into use in the second quarter of 2027.
