On June 8, within the framework of the official visit to Vietnam and attending the ASEAN Future Forum 2026 of the high-level delegations of Laos, Cambodia, Thailand, Ms. Dao Thi Bich Thuy - Wife of the Prime Minister of Vietnam, together with Ms. Vandara Siphandone - Wife of the Prime Minister of Laos; Ms. Pich Chamony - Wife of the Prime Minister of Cambodia and Ms. Thananon Niramit - Wife of the Prime Minister of Thailand visited and had activities at the Temple of Literature - Quoc Tu Giam.
Also participating were Ms. Tran Lan Phuong - Standing Vice President of the Central Vietnam Women's Union; Ms. Le Nguyet Anh - Wife of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Vietnam; Ms. Kheng Sanvada - Wife of the Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Cambodia; Ms. Khan Manida - Wife of the Minister in charge of the Civil Aviation Authority of Cambodia; Ms. Varaporn Phuangketkeow - Wife of the Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Thailand.
Ms. Weeree Thitipoonya - Wife of the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Thailand; and Ms. Latana Siharaj - Deputy Ambassador of Laos to Vietnam also participated in this cultural exchange activity.
At the Temple of Literature - Quoc Tu Giam, Mrs. Dao Thi Bich Thuy believes that this activity is not only an opportunity to learn more about each other's country, people and culture, but also contributes to fostering friendship, attachment and trust between peoples of countries.
Mrs. Dao Thi Bich Thuy shared that Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia and Thailand are close neighboring countries, sharing a rich cultural space of Southeast Asia. Countries all uphold family values, hospitality, community solidarity and respect for human values. These similarities have created natural empathy, helping people of countries to become closer and closer.

In recent years, friendly and cooperative relations between Vietnam and Laos, Cambodia and Thailand have been constantly strengthened and developed strongly in many fields. Besides the efforts of leaders and functional agencies, people-to-people exchanges and cultural connection activities also play a very important role in fostering understanding, trust and affection between ethnic groups.
During the program, the ladies and the delegation visited and listened to a general introduction about the history, space, architecture and typical values of the Van Mieu - Quoc Tu Giam National Special Relic Site.
At the exhibition space "Sỹ tử 3 - Chuyện sỹ tử", belonging to the Thai Hoc House, located in the Van Mieu - Quoc Tu Giam Relic Area, the First Ladies and the Delegation were introduced to the art installation space "Trạng Nguyên Garden".
Continuing the cultural stories at the exhibition, the ladies interacted with artisans and directly experienced some traditional handicraft activities such as drawing motifs on conical hats, hand embroidery, and watching silk weaving.
Before the end of the program, the First Lady of Laos, Cambodia, and Thailand expressed her joy and respectfully thanked the Prime Minister's First Lady of Vietnam for her respectful, thoughtful, very emotional and sincere reception for the delegation of First Ladies of other countries.
