On the morning of November 30, in Hanoi, the Vietnam Women's Union (VWA) held a conference to summarize the Project "Supporting women in start-ups in the period of 2017 - 2025" according to Decision No. 939/QD - TTg; implementing the Project "Supporting women in start-ups in the period of 2026 - 2035".
Speaking at the conference, Politburo member and Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh affirmed that women play a central role, are a particularly important component in society, are a revolutionary force, making great contributions, making glorious victories in the heroic history of the struggle to build and defend the Fatherland of Vietnam.
The Prime Minister reviewed the contributions of the generation of Vietnamese women through the ages. No matter wherever, in any circumstances, or in any position, Vietnamese women always strive to overcome all adversity, prejudice, difficulties, obstacles, strongly promote traditions and good qualities. Women are not only the ones to keep the fire warm in each family but also the pioneers, creating sustainable social values and directly participating in building and developing the country, the Prime Minister noted.
The Prime Minister emphasized that throughout the history of the Vietnamese revolution, our Party and State have always paid special attention to the development of women and women's work; issued and focused on directing the implementation of many policies and solutions to care for, protect, enhance the role and contribution of women and ensure gender equality in all aspects of social life.
On behalf of the Party and State leaders, the Prime Minister acknowledged, highly appreciated and warmly commended the important results that all levels, sectors, localities and especially women have achieved in the past time, making important contributions to the overall achievements of the country. Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh commended 195 outstanding collectives and individuals honored at the conference, affirming that these are beautiful flowers, outstanding core in the movement of startups and national construction of the country.
The Prime Minister commended and appreciated the Vietnam Women's Union for its determination to effectively implement Project 939 to support women in economic development, creative startups, implementation of gender equality goals and for the comprehensive and sustainable development of the country.
According to the Prime Minister, in the coming time, the world situation will continue to develop in a complex and unpredictable manner, with general difficulties and challenges being more opportunities and advantages. That context requires greater determination, greater efforts, and more drastic actions to successfully implement the two 100-year strategic goals; linking the implementation of Project 2415 and the country's goal of double-digit growth and the two 100-year strategic goals.
The Prime Minister suggested that Vietnamese women promote the spirit of "3 pioneers"; "5 masters" in creative startups in the spirit of Project 2415. In which, 3 pioneers include: daring to think, daring to do, daring to commit to difficult and complicated fields; innovation, different thinking, accepting risks; promoting integration, connectivity, flexible adaptation, compliance with business ethics and laws.
5 masters include: mastering knowledge and skills; mastering science, technology, digital transformation; mastering finance and development resources; mastering smart governance, optimizing work efficiency; mastering the market, startup ecosystem and building corporate brands.

To successfully implement the goals and tasks of Project 2415 in the coming time, the Prime Minister requested ministries, branches and relevant agencies to proactively and actively coordinate closely with the Vietnam Women's Union, deploy mechanisms and policies into specific actions; prioritize investment, mobilize specific resources to practically support women in creative startups, as General Secretary To Lam emphasized at the 95th Anniversary of the Vietnam Women's Union: "Investing in women is an investment in national productivity, for the future of the nation".
Along with that, it is required that ministries and branches proactively advise, propose, and remove barriers in institutions and policies, support women in accessing green credit sources, development support funds, adventure investment funds, land resources, resources, technology, markets, etc.
In addition, promote trade promotion, expand markets, support women in transforming production and business towards greening, digitalization, efficiency, sustainability, strengthen international cooperation, ensure more and more products of women-owned enterprises participating in supply chains.
The Prime Minister also requested the Vietnam Fatherland Front, socio-political organizations and press and media agencies to continue to promote their role in supervising, criticizing, and mobilizing the whole society to support the women's movement to start a business, build a creative and legitimate entrepreneurial spirit of women; encourage women's businesses to develop transparent production and business, safe products; apply artificial intelligence, improve access for women in remote areas, ethnic minorities, etc.
The Prime Minister affirmed that the Government, the Prime Minister, and all levels, sectors, and localities will always accompany and create the most favorable conditions for Vietnamese women to start businesses creatively and effectively, further promoting their especially important role and position and sustainable development in the new era.
