The Congress of the Party Committee of Hoa Cuong Ward, Da Nang set the goal of becoming a model city, a pioneer in digital transformation and e-government.
Established on the basis of merging 4 old wards (belonging to Hai Chau district, old Da Nang city), Hoa Cuong ward inherited a solid foundation when its predecessors exceeded many important targets such as poverty reduction, fund mobilization, environmental protection and budget collection. In particular, the ward has made a strong impression in administrative reform and digital transformation with 100% of documents processed through the Egov system using digital signatures, implementing the model of "Cashless Citizen Support Group", "Cashless Street Station" and applying QR codes in meetings to reduce paper documents.
Entering the new term, the Hoa Cuong Ward Party Committee set breakthrough goals: product value growth of 10-12%/year, per capita income increase of 50-60%, and put 100% of administrative procedures online. The ward's vision is to synchronously deploy the models of "Digital Family", "Digital Residential Group", develop the night-time economy, build digital commercial streets and market 4.0. Affirming this determination, Deputy Secretary of the Hoang Giang Ward Party Committee Yen Thuy emphasized the need to streamline the entire apparatus to be more efficient and efficient and promote the application of technology to exploit all potential, improving people's lives.
In his speech, Director of the Department of Home Affairs Phan Van Binh assessed the establishment of Hoa Cuong ward as a turning point, creating new development momentum. Mr. Binh suggested that the Party Committee must innovate management thinking, build a modern urban government to serve people and businesses, and at the same time focus on building a team of professional, dedicated, and non- harassing cadres.
The Congress appointed Mr. Ho Thuyen, former Chairman of the People's Committee of Hai Chau District (old), as Secretary of the Hoa Cuong Ward Party Committee. With a new leadership and a clear roadmap, Hoa Cuong ward is ready to break through, becoming a bright spot in smart cities of Da Nang.
