Since the beginning of July, the airport of the 954th Naval Brigade has always been bustling with a training atmosphere. Each flight crew quickly arrived at the location and deployed training exercises on Ka28 and DHC-6, EC225 aircraft according to the prescribed formation.
Brigade 954 is one of the units of the Navy participating in the parade at sea for the first time. This is an opportunity to affirm the position, strength and remarkable maturity of Brigade 954 in the general formation of the Navy and the Vietnam People's Army.
Brigade 954 also selected experienced pilots with good flight skills and many accumulated flight hours on Ka28 and DHC-6 aircraft.
Lieutenant Colonel Hoang Van Thuyen - Party Secretary, Political Commissar of Brigade 954 - said that immediately after receiving the assignment, the unit thoroughly grasped the instructions from superiors, developed a detailed training plan, and assigned specific tasks to each agency and unit.
Each individual selected to participate is an experienced pilot, clearly aware of their responsibilities when representing the image of the Navy.
Colonel Vuong Dang Nam - Brigade Commander of Brigade 954 - emphasized that the biggest requirement when flying a squadron is absolute accuracy. The aircraft must keep the correct distance, speed, altitude and be strict in all situations.
Navy determined to complete the task
The air and sea parade in Khanh Hoa was held at the same time as the parade with the appearance of military artillery vehicles and police special vehicles.
A special thing is that the sea parade will have the participation of many forces, in which the Navy plays a core role with the Kilo 636 Submarine, surface ships, Navy Air Force and other specialized units.
Organize physical training in groups and regularly learn from experience. The Navy also ensures good equipment, ships, and aircraft operating in complex weather conditions; organizes tight and flexible command; ensures mobile time to occupy the formation.
