On April 16, information from the People's Committee of Quang Binh Province said that on April 19, the whole province will organize the voters' comments on the project of arranging administrative units at the provincial and commune levels, according to the policy of the Central Government on streamlining the administrative apparatus.
The household representative voters will be given a vote to participate in suggestions. The collection will be implemented simultaneously in all communes, wards and townships in the province, except for Tan Thanh commune (Minh Hoa district), due to not being arranged.
Particularly for the plan to merge the administrative unit at the provincial level, the suggestions will be sent to the voters representing households with permanent residence in Quang Binh. The collection of opinions in Quang Tri province will be organized by this provincial People's Committee according to its own plan.
With the commune level, the consultation is only applied in localities in the merger or editing of the boundaries.
After the end, People's Committees of districts, towns and cities will summarize the results and send them to the People's Committee of Quang Binh province. The Department of Home Affairs will complete the general general report before April 22 to submit to the Provincial People's Committee.
Earlier, on April 14, the XVII Provincial Party Executive Committee issued Resolution No. 18-NQ/TU, agreed on the plan of arranging communal administrative units. Accordingly, after implementation, the whole province will have 41 communal administrative units, including 36 communes and 5 wards.
