The conference focused on the plan of arrangement and reorganization of the commune -level DVHC in the spirit of neatness of the apparatus, improving the effectiveness and efficiency of grassroots government activities.
Reported at the Conference, Head of the Organizing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee Tran Vu Khiem said that the arrangement is carried out in accordance with the scientific principle, in accordance with local practices, and at the same time ensuring the defense, security, culture - society and legitimate rights of the people. The name of the new unit encourages the order number or is associated with the old name to facilitate digitalization and data management.
After the arrangement, the headquarters of the new units will be selected based on the synchronous infrastructure criteria, convenient location, ensuring stable operation as soon as the unit is established.
After completing the project of arranging administrative units at the commune level, the province is expected to be reduced to 41 communes and wards, including 36 communes and 5 wards.
Currently, Quang Binh has 145 communal administrative units (122 communes, 15 wards and 8 towns).
Concluding the conference, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Le Ngoc Quang asked the relevant agencies to urgently complete the provincial and provincial projects; organize people's opinions; submit to the People's Council at all levels through the roadmap, ensure the provincial level is completed before April 25 and submit it to the Government before 1.5.
Along with that, the province also directed the development of plans to arrange cadres, civil servants, facilities and public property so that the new administrative apparatus will come into operation smoothly as soon as the Resolution takes effect.
Quang Binh Provincial Party Committee emphasized that the arrangement of DVHC is not only adjusting the boundaries, but also an important transition in the reorganization of the local government model in a streamlined and modern manner, serving the people better and creating a new development motivation for the province.
