The Standing Committee of the Quang Binh Provincial Party Committee has just issued a document requesting departments, branches, sectors and localities in the province to review cadres who wish to retire before the retirement age according to Decree 177 and 178 of the Government, ensuring that the process of streamlining the apparatus is carried out objectively and transparently.
According to the direction, agencies, units and localities in the province need to urgently review the staff, civil servants, public employees and workers who wish to retire early, retire before reaching retirement age, or quit their jobs. This list will be compiled and submitted to the competent authority for consideration and decision according to the decentralization of cadre management.
The Organizing Committee of the Quang Binh Provincial Party Committee will receive the dossiers of cadres under the management of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee and cadres, civil servants and public employees of the Party and mass organizations.
Meanwhile, the Department of Home Affairs of Quang Binh province will receive the dossiers of officials, civil servants, public employees and workers in the Government sector. Both units will compile the list and report to the competent authority to make the final decision.
Up to now, there are 13 cases of people wishing to retire early under the management of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, holding key leadership positions in the province and district.
Of these, 6 are provincial-level leaders (including 1 member of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee and 2 members of the Provincial Party Committee); 4 are deputy provincial-level leaders; 3 are district-level Standing Committee members. These people all have less than 10 years of service left.
Along with reviewing and arranging personnel, the Standing Committee of the Quang Binh Provincial Party Committee also requested to strengthen propaganda work, create high unity in the political system and consensus in society on arranging and streamlining the organizational apparatus. At the same time, it is necessary to have solutions to ensure reasonable regimes and policies for cadres retiring before the age, avoiding causing confusion among civil servants and public employees.
