Of these, 21 cases have been approved by the People's Committee of Quang Ninh Province with a total amount of nearly VND 30 billion.
Previously, many cadres and civil servants in many agencies and units of Quang Ninh have voluntarily applied to retire ahead of time to create conditions for streamlining the apparatus and improving operational efficiency.
Of which, Ha Long City has 12 cadres under the management of the Standing Committee of the Ha Long City Party Committee applying for early retirement according to the policy of streamlining the organization of the Central Government, the province and Ha Long City.
These cases are leaders of communes, wards and units in Ha Long City, even old enough to re -election but all write voluntary applications for retirement before the deadline to create conditions for streamlining the apparatus and improving operational efficiency.
Cam Pha City also has 9 officials who still have the working age with an application for retirement before the age of organizing and streamlining the central, provincial and city apparatus.
Quang Ninh Provincial Police also had 10 department-level leaders ask for early retirement.
Regarding this issue, the People's Committee of Quang Ninh province has just issued an official dispatch requesting departments, branches, sectors and local People's Committees to report on the situation of cadres, civil servants and public employees under their management after the organizational arrangement, ensuring compliance with the requirements of the Ministry of Home Affairs.
Also according to the Department of Home Affairs of Quang Ninh province, Quang Ninh province is still focusing on completing the Project to rearrange and reorganize administrative units at all levels and building a model of organizing local government at both levels to ensure compliance with the regulations and instructions of the Central Government and the Provincial Steering Committee to report to the Government before May 1, 2025.
Quang Ninh currently has 13 districts, towns and cities with 171 commune-level administrative units.
