On August 18, Ninh Binh province held a ceremony to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the People's Public Security Traditional Day and the 20th anniversary of the National Day for National Security Protection.
At the ceremony, authorized by the President, Mr. Truong Quoc Huy - Secretary of the Ninh Binh Provincial Party Committee awarded the First Class Medal of Military Exploit to Major General Nguyen Huu Manh - Director of the Provincial Police; and awarded the Third Class Medal of Military Exploit to the Investigation Security Department, Provincial Police.
Along with that, many collectives and individuals with outstanding achievements in the emulation movement especially celebrating the 80th anniversary of the People's Public Security Traditional Day and the 20th anniversary of the National Day for National Security Protection were awarded certificates of merit by the Prime Minister, the Ministry of Public Security and the Chairman of the Ninh Binh Provincial People's Committee.
Speaking at the ceremony, Major General Nguyen Huu Manh affirmed that the Ninh Binh Provincial Police force is always absolutely loyal to the Fatherland, the People, the Party and the State; maintaining and promoting the noble qualities of "Forgetting oneself for the country, serving the people"; engraved with the words of General Secretary To Lam: "When the people need, when the people are in difficulty, there is the police" and the advice of the late General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong: "Dignity is the most sacred and noble thing".
On the same day, August 18, Khanh Hoa Provincial Police held a meeting to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the Vietnam People's Public Security Traditional Day and the 20th anniversary of the National Day for National Security Protection.
Speaking at the ceremony, Major General Nguyen Huu Phuoc - Director of Khanh Hoa Provincial Police - said that in 80 years of building, fighting and growing, together with the People's Public Security nationwide, the Khanh Hoa Provincial Police force has always upheld the spirit of dedication, het long, and great service to the country and the people.
Each officer and soldier of Khanh Hoa Provincial Police always strives, trains, improves political courage, constantly cultivates ethics, fosters knowledge, experience, dynamism, creativity to master the situation, master science and technology...
Also at the ceremony, Khanh Hoa Provincial Police performed a ceremony to receive the title of Hero of the People's Armed Forces awarded by the President to Khanh Hoa Security Department (now Khanh Hoa Provincial Police).
On August 18, Hai Phong City Police held a ceremony to celebrate the 80th anniversary of Vietnam People's Public Security Day and the 20th anniversary of the National Day for National Security Protection.
Speaking at the ceremony, Major General Bui Quang Binh - Director of Hai Phong City Police, reviewed the 50-year journey of building, fighting and growing up gloriously and heroically of the People's Public Security force in general, Hai Phong Police in particular.
During the ceremony, Senior Lieutenant General Tran Quoc To - Permanent Deputy Minister of Public Security, authorized by the Party and State leaders, awarded the Second Class Military Exploit Order to Hai Phong City Police.
On this occasion, Hai Phong City also presented Hai Phong City Police with the Second and Third Class Medals to 6 groups and individuals of Hai Phong City Police.
Also this week, on August 17, in Hanoi, the Ministry of Public Security held a ceremony to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the Traditional Day of the People's Public Security, the 20th anniversary of the National Day for National Security Protection. At the ceremony, General Secretary To Lam, on behalf of the Party and State leaders, presented the Gold Star Medal to the Ministry of Public Security.
