Regarding violations and errors when implementing Decree 178, on September 9, in an exchange with a reporter from Lao Dong Newspaper, a representative of the Department of Home Affairs of Dong Nai City said that the Department will review each specific case and will report and propose to the People's Committee of Dong Nai City.
Regarding the 43 cases in Dong Nai pointed out by the State Audit Office, a representative of the Dong Nai City Department of Home Affairs said that there were cases that completed their tasks well but had dossiers proving that their health was not guaranteed. "We will review each specific case," a representative of the Dong Nai City Department of Home Affairs added.
Previously, on July 31, the State Audit Office had an audit result report on the implementation of policies and regimes for cadres, civil servants, public employees, and laborers in implementing the arrangement of the organizational structure of the political system according to Decree No. 178/2024/ND-CP and Decree No. 67/2025/ND-CP of the Government.
The report pointed out violations and errors in the work of appraising and approving streamlining targets.
Approving resignation and early retirement due to "not meeting task requirements, not meeting training qualifications according to professional and nghiệp vụ standards of the job position currently held after arrangement", while personal records and assessment of task completion level for 3 consecutive years of individuals all completed tasks well or better, in some units in Ho Chi Minh City, Dong Nai (43 cases), Lam Dong (7 cases), Dak Lak (45 cases), Gia Lai (3 cases)...
The Ministry of Home Affairs has a document requesting ministries, central and local agencies to review all cases that have been decided to quit their jobs and enjoy benefits according to Decree 178/2024 and Decree 67/2025.
