In recent days, wards and communes in Nghe An province have simultaneously organized mobile propaganda campaigns about the election of National Assembly deputies of the 16th term and People's Councils at all levels for the 2026-2031 term, attracting a large number of forces to participate, creating a joyful and exciting atmosphere among all strata of people.

In Cua Lo ward, Cua Lo town, a mobile propaganda delegation including officials, youth union members, police forces, militia and self-defense forces and mass organizations paraded through many main roads. Vehicles were decorated with national flags, banners, slogans "Moon and River Festival", "Each ballot is the trust and responsibility of voters"... brilliantly colored, attracting the attention of the people.

Similarly, in Tan Chau commune (Dien Chau district), the Tho Loc Secondary School Team organized extracurricular activities with the theme "I love Vietnamese Fatherland", integrating propaganda about the meaning of the election. Students enthusiastically participated in parades, holding flags and flowers, singing traditional songs, contributing to spreading a joyful and excited atmosphere to each residential area.
Police forces, militia and self-defense forces and unions of Vinh Hung ward (Vinh City) also participated in the propaganda convoy on many roads. The activity aims to inform people about the time and location of voting, and guide voters to actively participate in selecting typical delegates who are worthy of representing the will and aspirations of the people.

Through mobile propaganda activities, people are informed about citizens' rights and obligations, and legal regulations related to elections, thereby raising awareness and responsibility in participating in the country's major festival.

In addition to mobile propaganda, wards and communes in the province also promote many other forms such as hanging banners and posters on roads and residential areas; organizing activities and disseminating information in residential groups; integrating election content into village and hamlet meetings, club activities...
Nghe An has established 6 National Assembly deputy election committees, 20 provincial People's Council deputy election committees, 1,039 commune-level election committees and established 3,123 polling stations.
After 3 rounds of consultation according to regulations, the official list has 28 candidates for National Assembly deputies to elect 16 deputies; 140 candidates for Provincial People's Council deputies to elect 85 deputies. At the commune level, the whole province will elect 2,912 People's Council deputies with 4,807 people introduced to run after consultation.
Notably, 122 out of 130 communes and wards have introduced the Commander of the Military Command as a regular officer to participate in the election of the Commune People's Council, contributing to strengthening the role of the armed forces in the grassroots government system.
