The Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum Command has just announced the temporary suspension of the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum Visitation Ceremony to implement the Plan for the periodic restoration of the Mausoleum. The suspension period is from June 2, 2025 to July 31, 2025.
From August 2, 2025, the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum Command will continue to organize a visit to President Ho Chi Minh as planned.
According to Clause 3, Article 17 of the Ordinance on Management and Protection of the President Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum Relic Site, every year, no visits are held for 2 to 3 months to perform medical work to preserve President Ho Chi Minh's body for a long time and periodically maintain the President Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum and the Monument to Heroes and Martyrs; the specific time for the Ministry of National Defense to report to the Prime Minister for decision and widely announce on mass media.
Other cases of suspension of holding visits will be decided by the Minister of National Defense at the request of the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum Command.
