The representative of Khanh Hoa Provincial Social Insurance (VSS) also confirmed that despite active coordination, up to this point, the Social Insurance agency has not yet received the company's documents to pay for emergency cases according to the working minutes dated May 8, 2025.
The Provincial Social Insurance has also issued a decision to sanction administrative sanctions in the field of social insurance and health insurance of the Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee against Mai Linh Nha Trang Company Limited. The total amount of fines is more than 97 million VND.
"It has been more than a month since the first notification was sent, but this unit has not yet implemented it. According to regulations, after 3 notices, if the enterprise does not comply, the competent authority will carry out enforcement" - Khanh Hoa Social Insurance representative emphasized.
Previously, on May 8, the Khanh Hoa Provincial Federation of Labor coordinated with relevant agencies to organize the settlement of complaints from the collective of employees at Mai Linh Nha Trang Company Limited regarding the payment of unpaid wages and closing social insurance books.
At the meeting, Mr. Ha Dang Luyen - Chief of Office of the Board of Directors of Mai Linh Group Joint Stock Company and Director of Mai Linh Nha Trang Company Limited committed and signed a record with employees and representatives of competent agencies on paying debts, benefits... to employees.

In which, the commitment to pay the entire remaining salary to the employee must be implemented within 3 months, divided into at least 3 payments per month. The deadline for completion is before August 8, 2025.
Coordinate with the Social Insurance agency to finalize the social insurance books for 3 cases of work accidents, deaths, illnesses and implement before May 31, 2025. The company commits to completing the remaining social insurance debts of employees in the third quarter of 2025.

Many times, the family representative went to the company to request settlement of related benefits, closing social insurance books, and deposits (10 million VND) so that Mr. Dat could have treatment costs, but the company still pushed him away and did not pay.
Mr. Le Dinh Quynh - a taxi driver of Mai Linh Nha Trang Company Limited - is owed wages from September 2024 to February 2025, deposits, social insurance... for a total of VND 88 million.
Mr. Quynh has paid social insurance for more than 30 years. Currently, Mr. Quynh is about to expire to receive unemployment benefits, but the company has not closed the social insurance book. He also wants to do early retirement but cannot do so.
Mr. Quynh himself has many diseases and no money for treatment. While the property he already owned was a car that he had to leave at home because the company was holding the vehicle's documents, so he could not sell or run it.
