On July 30 and 31, the Que Vo Ward Party Committee, Bac Ninh Province solemnly held the 1st Congress of Delegates for the 2025 - 2030 term, with 226 official delegates attending, representing nearly 2,000 Party members in the entire Party Committee.
The Congress was attended by comrades: Politburo member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Chairman of the Central Inspection Committee Nguyen Duy Ngoc; Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Bac Ninh Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Van Gau; Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Bac Ninh Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Thi Huong; Alternate Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Bac Ninh Provincial People's Committee Vuong Quoc Tuan.
Que Vo ward was established on the basis of merging 4 wards: Pho Moi, Bang An, Viet Hung and Que Tan, with a total natural area of 23.51 km2, population of more than 40 thousand people. The Party Committee currently has 49 departments and directly-run Party Committees.
Speaking at the Congress, Chairman of the Central Inspection Committee Nguyen Duy Ngoc highly appreciated the preparation and organization of the Congress, acknowledging the results achieved by the Party Committee, government and people of Que Vo ward in the 2020-2025 term.
Chairman of the Central Inspection Committee Nguyen Duy Ngoc assessed that the first Que Vo Ward Congress of Delegates took place in a special context when the entire political system had just ended the "running and lining up" period to the " straightening, smooth, united progress" period as directed by General Secretary To Lam.
In the period of 2020-2025, the Party Committee, government and people of the wards: Bang An, Pho Moi, Que Tan, Viet Hung have achieved many very positive, important, and comprehensive results in the fields of economy, culture, society, national defense and security, Party building and the political system.
The very good thing is that the socio-economic development of the wards is quite rapid, the socio-economic infrastructure and urban areas are developed quite comprehensively, the material and spiritual life of the people is improved.
Discipline, solidarity and unity in the Party are maintained, people's trust in the leadership of the Party and the government is increasingly enhanced.
Mr. Ngoc commented that after a month of operating under the new model, although there are still some difficulties, the political system of the ward is basically stable, serving people and businesses.
The above results have clearly demonstrated the spirit of solidarity and continuous efforts of the entire political system, the close direction of Party committees at all levels, the efforts of each cadre and Party member, especially the active and unanimous response of the people to the Party.
The first Que Vo Ward Party Congress has identified a fairly clear target with 22 main targets, 5 key tasks, 3 breakthroughs in the coming term in the fields of economy, culture, society, national defense and security, Party building and the political system.
At the Congress, Mr. Nguyen Duy Ngoc - Politburo member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Chairman of the Central Inspection Committee suggested 5 important issues.
In particular, the Chairman of the Central Inspection Committee emphasized that it is necessary to thoroughly grasp, fully and concretizate, effectively implement the policies and decisions of the Party Central Committee, the Politburo, the Secretariat and the Bac Ninh Provincial Party Committee towards breakthroughs and national development in the new era.
Along with that, fully recognize the decentralized contents, decentralization, new functions and tasks of the commune and ward levels in the 2-level local government model.
The Party's policies and decisions must be absorbed into each Party cell, each cadre and Party member and must make each cadre and Party member fully aware and determine their responsibilities, thereby turning specific, proactive and creative actions in work, bringing high efficiency in the current situation.
The Congress announced the decisions of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee on: Appointing the Que Vo Ward Party Committee Executive Committee to consist of 30 comrades; the Ward Party Committee Standing Committee to consist of 11 comrades. Comrade Pham Thanh Hai was appointed to hold the position of Party Committee Secretary.
