On the afternoon of October 1, the Tay Ninh Provincial Party Committee held a press conference to announce information about the 1st Provincial Party Congress, term 2025-2030. Ms. Nguyen Thi Xuan Huong - Member of the Standing Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department chaired the meeting.
The Congress is scheduled to take place over 3 days (8, 9 and 10) with the participation of 448 official delegates, representing 94,257 Party members in the entire Party Committee. Of which, there are 66 natural delegates and 382 elected delegates. In addition to delegates in the province, the event also had the participation of leaders, former leaders of the Party and State, representatives of central departments, ministries and branches, and guests including Heroic Vietnamese Mothers, Heroes of the People's Armed Forces and delegates from provinces and cities.
According to the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Committee, the document submitted to the Congress was prepared over a long period of time, with the participation of cadres, party members, people from all walks of life and experts, and then approved by the Politburo. The political report consists of 2 parts: assessing the results of the implementation of the Resolution for the 2020-2025 term; determining the goals, tasks and solutions for the 2025-2030 period.
The document sets out 22 groups of targets, 3 groups of key tasks, 6 key projects and 5 main groups of solutions, focusing on socio-economic development, improving people's lives, ensuring national defense and security and building the political system.
Speaking at the press conference, Ms. Nguyen Thi Xuan Huong said that this Congress is of great significance, taking place in the context of Tay Ninh province having just completed the merger process and opened a new development stage. The Congress will objectively evaluate the results of the past term, clarify the limitations, causes and propose directions for the next journey.
