Speaking at the opening ceremony of the 9th Session of the 17th Thai Binh Provincial People's Council, term 2021 - 2026, Mr. Nguyen Tien Thanh - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Thai Binh Provincial People's Council - emphasized: 2025 is a year of special importance, the last year of the term and the 5-year plan 2021 - 2025.
The year 2025 is also the year identified by the Central Committee and the Executive Committee of the Thai Binh Provincial Party Committee as the year of acceleration, breakthrough, and reaching the finish line; the final year, of special importance to complete the goals and targets set out in the Resolution of the 20th Provincial Party Congress, contributing with the whole country to successfully implement the Resolution of the 13th National Party Congress to enter a new era with the whole country - the era of the Vietnamese people's rise.
Therefore, the Standing Committee of the Thai Binh Provincial People's Council requests that the Provincial People's Council delegates uphold their sense of responsibility towards voters and people, promote democracy and intelligence, focus on studying documents, speaking at the meeting hall and discussing in groups, analyzing, evaluating, clarifying the achieved results, limitations, difficulties, obstacles and causes (especially subjective causes) in sectors, fields and aspects of work, thereby proposing practical and feasible solutions to promptly overcome shortcomings and limitations, creating more substantial and stronger changes in the coming time; at the same time, it is necessary to promote their right to question well, focus on key issues, topical issues of interest to voters and public opinion and contribute valid opinions to the draft resolutions for the Provincial People's Council to consider and approve.
Reporting on the socio-economic development situation in 2024, the main goals, tasks and solutions in 2025, the representative of the Thai Binh Provincial People's Committee also stated that in 2025, continuing the spirit with the theme "Responsibility, discipline, strengthening reform, seizing opportunities, breaking through to move forward", with the high determination of the entire political system along with the efforts of the business community and the people; thereby setting out the goals, tasks and solutions for socio-economic development in 2025: Promoting the structure of the economy and production sectors associated with innovating the growth model towards developing sectors and products with competitive advantages and high added value; improving productivity, quality, efficiency and competitiveness of the economy.
