After the motorcade of General Secretary, President To Lam and his wife stopped at the large hall of the Government House, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Thailand Anutin Charnvirakul and his wife welcomed General Secretary, President To Lam and his wife at the parking lot and invited them to step onto the podium of honor. Military music performed the national anthems of Vietnam and Thailand.
After that, General Secretary and President To Lam reviewed the Royal Thai Army's Honorary Corps.
Next, Prime Minister Anutin Charnvirakul and his wife, along with General Secretary and President To Lam and his wife, introduced each other to members of the high-level delegations of the two countries attending the welcoming ceremony.
Immediately after the welcoming ceremony, General Secretary and President To Lam and Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Thailand Anutin Charnvirakul and the high-level delegation of the two countries held talks.
The official visit to the Kingdom of Thailand this time by General Secretary and President To Lam and his wife, along with the high-level Vietnamese delegation, shows Vietnam's high appreciation for relations with Thailand as well as with the Southeast Asian region.
This is also an opportunity for senior leaders of the two countries to exchange in-depth views on major orientations to effectively implement the new cooperation framework, thereby creating more momentum for bilateral relations in the coming time.
