On the afternoon of June 29, in Hanoi, the Central Internal Affairs Commission organized a national conference to summarize the work in the first 6 months of the year and deploy tasks for the last 6 months of 2026.
Politburo Member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Internal Affairs Commission Le Minh Tri chaired the conference.
In the first 6 months of the year, the Central Internal Affairs Commission continued to perform well the role of the Standing Agency of the Central Steering Committee for Anti-Corruption, Wastefulness, and Negative Phenomena and the Central Steering Committee for Judicial Reform.
The Committee has chaired and coordinated the development of 5 projects on internal affairs, corruption prevention and control, wastefulness, negativity and judicial reform; completed and submitted 4 projects to the Central Executive Committee and the Politburo.
In which, there is the Project summarizing 20 years of implementing Resolution No. 3 of the 10th Central Committee on strengthening the Party's leadership in the work of preventing and combating corruption and wastefulness, which was highly appreciated by the Politburo.
Guidance, monitoring, urging, inspection, and supervision work is regularly implemented. The advisory board develops the Action Program of the Party's Internal Affairs sector to implement the Resolution of the 14th Party Congress; organizes conferences to thoroughly grasp the work of preventing and combating corruption, wastefulness, negativity, protecting state secrets and speaking discipline....
Recognizing the achieved results, Head of the Central Internal Affairs Commission Le Minh Tri pointed out that from now until the end of 2026, the situation is forecast to continue to have many new, difficult, and complex factors; the volume of tasks serving the implementation of the Resolution of the 14th Party Congress, Resolution of the 2nd Central Committee of the 14th term, arranging the organizational structure, perfecting institutions, digital transformation and celebrating the 60th Anniversary of the Traditional Day of the Party's Internal Affairs sector is still very large.
Therefore, it is necessary to continue to innovate leadership, direction, and administration methods; be more proactive in grasping the situation, advising, and proposing; improve discipline, order, and personal responsibility; clearly define people, work, deadlines, products, and responsibilities in each task.
In which, the Central Internal Affairs Commission continues to perform well the tasks of the Standing Agency of the Central Steering Committee for Anti-Corruption, Wastefulness, and Negative Phenomena; prepare the 31st Meeting and Standing Meetings of the Steering Committee; focus on advising on accelerating the progress of investigation and definitive handling of cases and incidents under the Steering Committee's monitoring; continue to advise on concretizing the Party's major guidelines and orientations on internal affairs, anti-corruption, wastefulness, negativity and judicial reform, especially after the 14th Party Congress and Resolution of the 2nd Plenum of the 14th Central Committee.
At the same time, the Central Internal Affairs Commission also strengthened monitoring, inspection, and supervision; improved the quality of participation in opinions on projects and draft laws; continued to promote digital transformation and Party building.
Head of the Central Internal Affairs Commission Le Minh Tri emphasized the requirement to better promote the "goalkeeper" role of the Central Internal Affairs Commission in the field of internal affairs, corruption prevention and control, wastefulness, and negativity; monitor and urge the concretization and institutionalization of the Party's guidelines and viewpoints on corruption prevention and control, wastefulness, and negativity issued from the beginning of the XIII Congress term to date.
