On July 2, Chairman of Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee Ho Van Muoi signed a unanimous agreement on the Project to establish other specialized agencies and administrative organizations under Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee.
Previously, the three provinces of Lam Dong, Binh Thuan and Dak Nong all had 13 specialized agencies and 1 other administrative organization under the Provincial People's Committee.
Specifically, 13 specialized agencies include: Provincial People's Committee Office; Department of Home Affairs; Department of Finance; Department of Agriculture and Environment; Department of Industry and Trade; Department of Justice; Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism; Department of Construction;
The Department of Science and Technology; the Department of Education and Training; the Department of Health; the Provincial Inspectorate; the Department of Ethnic Minorities and Religions and another organization under the Provincial People's Committee is the Industrial Park Management Board.
Regarding the organization of the apparatus, the arrangement is carried out on the basis of merging the status quo of specialized agencies and other administrative organizations under the Provincial People's Committee to establish 13 specialized agencies and 1 administrative organization under the Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee (new).
Along with that, the Department of Foreign Affairs of Lam Dong province was established due to the establishment of an international air border gate (Lien Khuong International Airport) and an international seaport (Vinh Tan International Seaport).
Regarding staffing and personnel, at the time of the merger, the total number of staff assigned to the 3 localities was 3,597; the total number of civil servants present was 3,145 people.
The total number of civil servant positions assigned is 15,068 people (from the State budget); the total number of civil servants present is 17,114 people (including civil servants receiving salaries from the budget and career revenue)
From 2026 onwards, the staff streamlining will be implemented close to restructuring, improving the quality of the team according to the roadmap, ensuring that within 5 years the number of staff is basically implemented in accordance with the regulations of competent authorities...
