On July 2, XXV Social Insurance informed that the unit had just organized a day to promote, consult, and answer questions about social insurance and health insurance policies.
The event was held on the occasion of Vietnam Health Insurance Day (July 1), the day the Law on Social Insurance (amended) and the Law on Health Insurance (amended) 2024 took effect.
Mr. Dang Hong Tuan - Director of Social Insurance of the XXV region said that as of June 2025, the entire Lam Dong province (new) has more than 2.9 million people participating in health insurance. With this figure, the health insurance coverage rate reached 86.81% of the province's population.
To complete the assigned plan, from now until the end of 2025, Lam Dong province needs to develop nearly 247,000 more people to participate in health insurance.
According to Mr. Tuan, through this event, the unit will promote and disseminate new regulations of the Law on Social Insurance and the Law on Health Insurance 2024.
The unit also answered people's difficulties when participating in and enjoying social insurance and health insurance policies.
On this occasion, the Social Insurance of the XXV region also cheered, encouraged, and created a vibrant competitive atmosphere among civil servants and employees in the whole industry.

"We organize a small-group propaganda campaign with the goal of developing 5,000 more people to participate in health insurance in July 2025," said Mr. Dang Hong Tuan.
Mr. Tuan said that to achieve the set goals and plans, the unit organized conferences, dialogues, consultations, and propaganda on health insurance policies. This is also an opportunity to mobilize benefactors to give health insurance cards to people in difficult circumstances.
