He emphasized the reasons and importance of the Project for the country's development in the new era, such as: completing the country's development goals by 2030 and 2045, avoiding the risk of falling behind, the risk of falling into the middle-income trap, avoiding the negative impact of the population aging trend...
The Head of the Committee also pointed out some points that need to be focused on when developing the Project and drafting the Resolution and organizing the implementation of the Resolution early and effectively. He suggested that members of the Steering Committee give their opinions on the contents of the draft: Outline of the Central Report of the Project, thematic reports; Decision on assignment of tasks; Plan to organize seminars and discussions to develop the Project; Progress of project development and completion to submit to the Politburo. The Head of the Steering Committee noted: because the time is very urgent to carry out the task, it is necessary to have close coordination between the members of the Steering Committee at relevant ministries, branches and localities; requiring ministries, branches and localities to carry out assigned tasks according to schedule.
At the Conference, the Standing Committee of the Editorial Team announced the Decision to establish a Steering Committee for the Project Development, the draft outline for reporting and highlighting the main points in the draft documents for the Project Development.
Concluding the Conference, Comrade Tran Luu Quang, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Policy and Strategy Committee, Head of the Steering Committee, thanked and selected the comments of the Steering Committee members attending the Conference. Once again, he emphasized the importance of the Project and requested members of the Steering Committee and the Editorial Team to carry out their tasks with the highest determination, paying attention to the quality of the Project. The content of the Project must demonstrate new thinking, new ways of doing things, being outstanding, breakthrough, and determined, when implemented, creating excitement for everyone to successfully renew.
In addition, the Project must be feasible and easy to do in organizing implementation. The project needs to be expressed specifically, boldly in the proposals and edited consistently. The implementation of the Project requires close coordination and completion on schedule.
