The Unmanned Vehicle Battalion was established according to the decision of the Chief of the General Staff of the Vietnam People's Army. This is a unit directly under the General Staff of Military Region 7, established to meet practical requirements and new combat methods. The establishment of this unit marks an important milestone in the process of building the armed forces of Military Region 7 and the Vietnam People's Army to move towards modernization; showing the strategic vision of the Central Military Commission and the Ministry of National Defense in applying high-tech scientific achievements to the military and defense fields.
