On March 9, at the Government headquarters, Politburo member and Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh chaired a meeting of the Government Party Committee Standing Committee.
At the conference, the Government Party Committee announced the Politburo's decision to appoint members, Chairmen, and Deputy Chairmen of the Government Party Committee's Inspection Committee for the 2020-2025 term; discuss the situation of directing the preparation of Party congresses at all levels towards the first Government Party Congress, the 2025-2030 term, in which reviewing the preparation of Party congresses of Party Committees under the Government Party Committee, and at the same time planning to establish Subcommittees to serve the Government Party Congress for the 2025-2030 term; reviewing the propaganda plan for the Government Party Congress.
The Standing Committee of the Government Party Committee also assessed the implementation of work according to the working program of the 1910 Inspection Team of the Politburo and the Secretariat; discussed the development of an inspection and supervision program of the Government Party Committee in 2025; the improvement of agencies assisting the Government Party Committee and a number of other important issues.
Concluding the conference, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh highly appreciated the preparation work and the dedicated, responsible, and quality opinions of the members of the Government Party Committee Standing Committee; and noted a number of specific contents.
For the establishment of subcommittees serving the Government Party Congress, the Subcommittees must ensure appropriate structure, components, and personnel, associated with professional functions and tasks, ensuring deep understanding to best contribute to and perform the tasks of the subcommittee; the subcommittees must have a standing department and a working group.
The Secretary of the Government Party Committee requested that the establishment and assignment of the task of a working group to direct congresses of Party Committees under the Government Party Committee should be unified with the task of being responsible for the professional direction of the Party Committee and Government leaders for Party Committees, ministries, ministerial-level agencies, and agencies under the Government.
Regarding the propaganda and inspection and supervision work of the Government Party Committee, the Prime Minister requested to focus on the tasks that the Government Party Committee is focusing on performing according to functions and tasks...
The Prime Minister requested the agency assisting the Government Party Committee to continue to complete documents and drafts of programs and plans for the Standing Committee and the Standing Committee of the Party Committee to consider.
Urgently submit to the Politburo for opinions on perfecting the organization and working regulations of agencies assisting the Government Party Committee according to the direction of the Central Committee, regulations of the Party and the Politburo, especially Decision No. 249-QD/TW of the Politburo on the functions, tasks, and organization of the Government Party Committee.
