Patriotic emulation - a bright spot in the period of 20202025
According to Mr. Doan Anh Tho - Deputy Secretary of the State Audit Office, over the past 5 years, the State Audit's emulation movements have been organized in many diverse forms, from regular emulation, surprise emulation to peak emulation campaigns to celebrate major holidays.
As a result, in the period of 2020-2025, the whole industry has more than 16,000 collectives and individuals who have been awarded at all levels, of which 22 collectives and 37 individuals have been awarded noble titles by the State and the Government. In particular, 42 audits were recognized as Gold Quality Audit, demonstrating recognition of efforts to improve audit quality and value.
In addition, the State Audit also actively participates in social security activities, with a total donation and support value of over VND 57 billion in the period 2020-2025. The industry has also provided 1,851 audited reports and documents to serve supervision and investigation activities, contributing to the fight against corruption and waste, affirming the role of the State Audit in the political system.
Towards the 2025-2030 period, professionalism, integrity and prestige
Entering the 2025-2030 period, Deputy State Auditor General Doan Anh Tho clearly stated the theme of continuous emulation of the entire industry: "Emulation for innovation, creativity, digital transformation - Building a professional, honest and prestigious State Audit".
He said that the new period requires the State Audit to continue to comprehensively innovate the content, form and emulation methods; linking the movement with the goal of the State Audit Development Strategy to 2030, with a vision to 2045. Emulation is not only a slogan but must become a management tool, a measure of work results and the spirit of dedication of each collective and individual in the industry.

According to the report, the State Audit will continue to innovate emulation content and methods in a more specific and practical direction; link emulation with the key tasks of the industry, focusing on areas such as environmental audit, information technology audit, public asset management, public finance and operations audit.
Reward work is identified as an important step, which needs to be innovated in a timely, fair and transparent manner; focus on rewarding people who are directly employees, people with initiatives and innovations in work, while avoiding formal manifestations and chasing achievements.
Mr. Doan Anh Tho emphasized that emulation must become a specific action movement, turning determination into real results, closely linked to each auditing task. This is the way for the State Audit to continue to affirm its role as a tool to control public finance and public assets of the State, effectively serving the Party, the National Assembly and the People.
