In the Year of the Snake 2025, our country has gone through a journey marking many important events of special significance and achieved many very proud achievements; at the same time, it is also a year when our country has to go through many difficulties and challenges, with rapid, complex, and unpredictable changes in the world and regional situation, along with harsh natural disasters, causing heavy losses, leaving much pain and loss for our compatriots.
With steadfast bravery, self-reliance and self-strengthening will, the entire Party, the entire people, and the entire army have united, joined hands, promoted the strength of the entire nation and the help of international friends, we have completed all the main goals set out, with many outstanding imprints: Independence, sovereignty, unity, territorial integrity, peaceful environment are maintained; economic growth belongs to the leading group in the world, becoming a high-middle-income country; social security is concerned and cared for; political and social stability is stable; national defense and security are maintained and strengthened; foreign affairs and international integration are promoted, Vietnam's position and prestige continue to be enhanced in the international arena; creating an important foundation for the country to enter a new era of development.
