Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh offered incense at Thang Long Imperial Citadel and visited and wished Tet to the families of former Party and State leaders through various periods.

On the occasion of the Lunar New Year - Binh Ngo Spring 2026, in the joyful atmosphere of celebrating the Party and Spring, on February 14 (ie, December 27 of the year At Ty), Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh visited Kinh Thien Palace, Thang Long Imperial Citadel Relic Site (Hanoi) to offer incense to express his respectful remembrance and gratitude to the ancient emperors and sages who contributed to the country.

In the sacred atmosphere of the days leading up to Tet, the Prime Minister and delegates offered incense to express their respectful remembrance and gratitude to the merits of the predecessors who pioneered Thang Long civilization and brightened Dai Viet civilization.

Thereby warning about the achievements of building and developing the country; and at the same time praying for the predecessors and virtuous people to bless the nation with peace and prosperity, and the people with prosperity and happiness.

Talking to officials and staff of the Thang Long Heritage Conservation Center, the Prime Minister praised the Center for its efforts in managing, preserving, restoring and promoting the value of the Thang Long Imperial Citadel cultural heritage.

Research and restore many cultural activities and traditional rituals; organize the reception and introduction of heritage to tens of thousands of domestic and international tourists; clear ground to serve the restoration and embellishment of heritage sites...

The Head of Government emphasized that preserving, restoring and promoting the value of Thang Long Imperial Citadel is the Party's policy.

Therefore, each official and employee of the Center, with all their hearts, promotes the highest sense of responsibility, contributing to preserving and promoting the historical and cultural values of the Central Area of Thang Long Imperial Citadel - a relic recognized by the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) as a World Cultural Heritage Site.

The Prime Minister requested that, along with the State's resources, Hanoi City in general and Thang Long Heritage Conservation Center in particular need to mobilize other legitimate resources to restore, repair, embellish, preserve and promote heritage.

Propose mechanisms and policies if necessary to submit to the Government for consideration, so that this place is truly a source of pride for the thousand-year-old land of culture and heroism, elegance and sophistication of every Vietnamese person.

On the same day, in Hanoi, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh visited and wished Tet to former General Secretary Nong Duc Manh at his private residence.

Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh visited and wished Tet to families and offered incense to the late General Secretary Le Duan, late General Secretary Do Muoi, late General Secretary Le Kha Phieu, late General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong, late Prime Minister Pham Van Dong and General Vo Nguyen Giap.
