Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh will attend the 3rd United Nations Ocean Conference; conduct bilateral activities in France.

The Vietnam News Agency reported that, after finishing the official visit to the Republic of Estonia, the afternoon 7.6 in the local time (the same evening of Hanoi time), the specialized member of the Politburo member, the Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh and his wife Le Thi Bich Tran and the high -ranking delegation of Vietnam went to Nice, the French Republic to start the mission to attend the 3rd UN Ocean Conference (UNOC 3); Conducting bilateral activities in France from 7-11.6 at the invitation of UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres and French President Emmanuel Macron.

This is the first time the Vietnamese Prime Minister has attended the United Nations Ocean Conference; it is the Prime Minister's first visit to France since the two countries upgraded their relations to a Comprehensive Strategic Partnership in October 2024, following French President Macron's visit to Vietnam in May 2025.

Immediately after arriving in France, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh and his wife visited the family of Mr. Vo Ba Luan - the owner of a restaurant specializing in Japanese dishes in the famous coastal tourist city of Nice.

Also on the afternoon of June 7, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh and his wife visited the old town and cultural works in Nice such as the Lascaris Museum - a unique cultural site, bearing the historical and artistic imprint of the French South.

Visiting the museum, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh expressed his impression and admiration for the collection of valuable artifacts, especially the collection of 500 musical instruments connecting the past - present - future.
