On September 26, the Government Office announced that Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh had just signed Official Dispatch No. 172/CD-TTg on organizing the Autumn Fair in 2025.
Following the success of the National Achievement Exhibition "80 years of independence - freedom - Happiness", the Prime Minister assigned the Ministry of Industry and Trade to preside over and coordinate with the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Vingroup Corporation, Vietnam Exhibition Center (VEC) and relevant ministries, agencies, localities and units to urgently organize the Autumn Fair in 2025.
The fair aims to create a channel to promote trade, investment, consumption, economic connectivity, trade, goods, industry, agriculture, services, promote domestic production activities and import and export activities.
The 2025 Autumn Fair takes place at the Vietnam Exhibition Center (VEC) and is expected to take place from October 20 to November 5.
The Prime Minister directed the Ministry of Industry and Trade to preside over and closely coordinate with relevant agencies to carefully and thoroughly prepare conditions to organize a fair in the entire space at the Vietnam Exhibition Center (VEC), ensuring practicality, efficiency, economy, security and safety.
Organize activities to connect trade transactions for organizations, businesses, and investors participating in fairs with domestic and international partners; encourage businesses to actively introduce and sell products, services, and technologies to consumers through the fair.
The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism organizes spaces and cultural activities, commercializes cultural products, promotes culinary culture, traditional ao dai, tourism, programs to promote the cultural industry, entertainment industry and organizes other cultural events during the fair.
The Ministry of Finance shall preside over and coordinate with the Ministry of Industry and Trade to guide and allocate funds to organize fairs in accordance with regulations, ensuring savings and efficiency.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs directs Vietnamese embassies and representative agencies abroad to widely promote information about the 2025 Autumn Fair to businesses and organizations in their home country; invite businesses and organizations of the host country to participate in the fair; organize business delegations to exchange, cooperate, trade, and connect economically with Vietnam through the fair.
Ministries, ministerial-level agencies, government agencies, other central agencies, People's Committees of provinces and cities participate in fairs and mobilize and organize affiliated and local enterprises to participate in fairs.
widely promote information about the fair to the community of businesses, organizations, industry associations, ... in the area and scope of management, ensuring rich and diverse participating products, promoting the strengths of each industry, field, locality and region.
Hanoi coordinates with the Ministry of Industry and Trade and Vingroup Corporation in widely communicating to the people; arranging and enhancing public transport routes to serve transportation, transportation, and welcoming visitors to the fair; urgently studying and expanding sections and routes connecting to the Vietnam Exhibition Center (VEC).
Central and local state-owned corporations and groups actively and proactively participate in fairs, review and select unique and typical items to promote products, services, brands, and enhance trade and investment promotion.
