The Ministry of Foreign Affairs said that on September 25, at the Government Headquarters, Politburo member and Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh received comrade Lam Vu, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Standing Committee of the People's Congress of Shandong Province (China), on the occasion of his working visit to Vietnam.
Son Dong Provincial Party Secretary Lam Vu affirmed that Son Dong attaches high importance to the friendship and substantive cooperation in all fields with ministries, branches and localities of Vietnam, determined to thoroughly grasp and effectively implement the high-level common perception, continuing to make practical contributions to the development of the relationship between the two Parties and the two countries in the new period.
Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh highly appreciated the cooperation results between ministries, branches and localities of Vietnam and Shandong in recent times, especially the exchange and contact at all levels have been enhanced, investment - trade cooperation is a bright spot, many large enterprises and high-tech enterprises of Shandong province are investing and producing effectively in Vietnam.

Affirming that the Party, State and Government of Vietnam always attach high importance to and give top priority to developing Vietnam-China relations, support and be ready to create all favorable conditions for enhancing cooperation between the two countries, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh shared about the event where President Ho Chi Minh visited Son Dong 60 years ago; hoping that the province and localities of Vietnam will promote the tradition of friendship, further promote exchanges and contacts at all levels, exchange development experiences, promote training of cadres and human resources in areas where Son Dong has strengths; promote the exploitation of each side's potential and advantages, create new breakthroughs in areas of substantive cooperation; prioritize the increase of imports of Vietnamese goods, especially high-quality agricultural products.
The Prime Minister suggested that Son Dong share experiences in implementing the Free Trade Zone and market facilitation policies to create conditions for Vietnamese enterprises to better access the market; encourage enterprises with strengths and typical expertise in science and technology of Son Dong to increase high-quality investment, associated with transferring advanced technology and training high-quality human resources for Vietnam, especially in electronics, high-tech, low-emission and environmentally friendly industries.
Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh suggested that Son Dong province, as a locality with a rich culture and history, home to famous thinkers such as Kong Zi and Meng Zi, strengthen cooperation with Vietnamese localities in culture and tourism; enhance people-to-people exchanges.
Son Dong Provincial Party Secretary Lam Vu said that the potential for cooperation between Son Dong and Vietnamese localities is still very large.

Comrade Lam Vu hopes to strengthen friendly relations with Vietnamese localities; the two sides will continue to promote and improve the quality of cooperation in the fields of trade, investment, and production, while expanding cooperation in new fields such as green development and digital economy, thereby adding new growth drivers for substantive and mutually beneficial cooperation between the two sides.
