VNA reported that on the occasion of attending the 80th Anniversary of the World People's Socialist Victory in Beijing, China, on the morning of September 4, 2025, President Luong Cuong held talks with General Secretary and President of China Xi Jinping.
Previously, on the morning of September 3, President Luong Cuong attended the parade to celebrate the 80th anniversary of theth Phap Viet Viet Victory at Thien An Mon Square.
Also on September 3, President Luong Cuong met with leaders of Cambodia, Cuba, North Korea, Indonesia, Malaysia, Timor Leste, Mongolia, Russia, Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan, Tajikistan, Slovakia, the Republic of Congo, Zimbabwe.
This is President Luong Cuong's first working trip to China as President. This is an opportunity for the leaders of Vietnam and China to continue to consolidate and realize the high-level common perception of further enhancing political trust, promoting substantive and mutually beneficial cooperation in various fields between the two countries, handling disagreements, maintaining a peaceful and stable environment for the development of each country, as well as contributing to the common development of the region and the world.
