On the occasion of the Binh Ngo Lunar New Year, on the afternoon of February 16, in Hanoi, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh visited, wished Tet and inspected the on-duty work to ensure order, safety and security of officers and soldiers of the Traffic Police Department (CSGT) and the Department of Cyber Security and High-Tech Crime Prevention.
Accompanying him was General Luong Tam Quang - Member of the Politburo, Minister of Public Security.
The Prime Minister visited and encouraged officers and soldiers of the Traffic Police Department and inspected the work of ensuring traffic order and safety at the Nguyen Van Cu - Ngoc Thuy intersection, Hanoi City.
Talking to officers and soldiers of the Traffic Police force, the Prime Minister sent words of encouragement and sharing to the police officers on duty for safe and smooth traffic, while everyone and every household are returning home to gather with their families, together welcoming the Binh Ngo New Year 2026.

The Prime Minister requested the traffic police force to be a pioneer in green transformation and digital transformation in the field of transportation; digitize and build a database to better manage traffic, reduce the effort for officers and soldiers, especially in harsh weather conditions; and at the same time promptly and resolutely handle violations and negativity.
The Traffic Police force coordinates with ministries and sectors to better control the traffic situation; striving to reduce the number of accidents, deaths, and injuries compared to 2025.

The Prime Minister noted that as means of transport become more and more modern, the equipment of means of transport management must also be modern, physical facilities must be strengthened, and projects to modernize must be quickly completed. At the same time, investment efficiency must be exploited and optimized, lessons must be learned from places that have been successful, contributing to combating waste and negativity.
On this occasion, through the VNeTraffic application, with more than 5 million users, the Prime Minister and Minister of Public Security Luong Tam Quang sent New Year greetings of peace and health, and wishes for safe traffic participation to all traffic participants nationwide.

At the National Cyber Security Center, the Prime Minister visited, wished Tet and inspected the on-duty work of officers and soldiers of the Department of Cyber Security and High-Tech Crime Prevention.
In the context of the world and regional situation developing complicatedly, very quickly, and unpredictably, with many new forms of war appearing that can impact and affect the socio-economic development, security and defense of the country, the Prime Minister reiterated the very important direction of General Secretary To Lam on always maintaining strategic initiative.
The Prime Minister requested officers and soldiers of the Department of Cyber Security and Crime Prevention using high technology to perform well 3 important functions.
That is, always firmly grasp the situation, do a good job of advising Party and State leaders on protecting national security and sovereignty in cyberspace; do a good job of state management; be a force directly fighting in cyberspace, preventing cybercrime and cyberattacks affecting national interests, affecting people's lives and socio-economic development.
