A large number of young people and children in the Capital waved flags of the two countries to welcome Prime Minister Takaichi Sanae and the high-level delegation of Japan.

The visit marks Vietnam as the first country in the region that Prime Minister Takaichi Sanae visits after being re-elected as Prime Minister of Japan in February 2026, showing Japan's importance to the Vietnam-Japan Comprehensive Strategic Partnership as both countries are entering a new stage of development together.
In a friendly and friendly atmosphere, Prime Minister Le Minh Hung was present at the red carpet warmly welcoming Prime Minister Takaichi Sanae leading the high-level Japanese delegation on an official visit to Vietnam. Representatives of the Capital's children proceeded to present Prime Minister Takaichi Sanae with a bouquet of fresh flowers.


In the sound of welcoming music, Prime Minister Le Minh Hung and Prime Minister Takaichi Sanae stepped onto the podium of honor in the main hall of the Government Headquarters. After listening to the military music playing the national anthems of the two countries, Prime Minister Le Minh Hung and Prime Minister Takaichi Sanae stepped forward to bow to the military flag and review the Vietnamese People's Army Honor Team. Next, the two leaders introduced the composition of the high-level delegations of the two countries attending the welcoming ceremony.
After the welcoming ceremony, the two Prime Ministers had a narrow meeting and led the high-level delegation of the two countries to hold talks to assess the results of cooperation between the two countries in the past and propose directions for cooperation in the coming time; as well as witness the signing and handover of cooperation documents between Vietnam and Japan.
