First, in the short term, countries need to strengthen cooperation and policy coordination to diversify energy supplies, facilitate trade and maintain stable and smooth supply chains, especially in energy and food.
Second, in the medium and long term, it is necessary to improve strategic autonomy and resilience of economies through the development of synchronous energy infrastructure, strengthening strategic reserves and promoting technology transfer.

Prime Minister Le Minh Hung expressed his support for the initiative to upgrade AZEC to AZEC 2.0 and affirmed that Vietnam is committed to continuing to proactively and actively coordinate closely with Japan and partners in effectively implementing AZEC's initiative to jointly create a greener, more sustainable, and more prosperous future for today's and future generations.
